Clifton College presents Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, a timeless musical that brings together some of literature's most familiar fairy-tale characters in a story about wishes, choices and responsibility. When a Baker and his Wife set out to lift a family curse, their journey crosses paths with Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and many others. As dreams are realised and wishes come true, each character discovers that there is often a cost to getting what they want.Featuring Sondheim's celebrated score and a distinctive visual style inspired by the world of a Victorian travelling circus, this production offers a fresh interpretation of a modern musical classic.
