The box office also opens one hour prior to any performance at the theatre. If you wish to purchase tickets on the door, we recommend arriving early and before the house opens (30 minutes before the performance). After this time, you may be asked to wait until a member of the team is available to assist you.


Tickets booked online or by phone include a £1.50 booking fee per ticket, which includes a 20p restoration levy supporting the theatre’s upkeep.
Tickets purchased in person at the box office do not incur a booking fee.
Posted tickets are subject to a £2 postage charge. We aim to dispatch tickets promptly; however, tickets will arrive a minimum of 1-2 weeks before the performance date.

The Redgrave theatre will not exchange or refund tickets except for the unlikely occurrence of an event being cancelled. When this is the case the refunded amount will be for the face value of the ticket only.
In the event of a show being rescheduled your tickets will automatically be moved to the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you can apply for a refund for the tickets up to one month after the show has been rescheduled.
By purchasing ticket insurance through SecureMyBooking.com, doesn’t necessarily mean you are automatically entitled to a refund. A request needs to be submitted directly through their website and a case needs to be open and investigated before a refund of any find can be given.
We are currently not offering to re-sell tickets to sold out shows.
Concessions are only offered on selected shows and will be shown in the ticket pricing if available. Eligible customers include over 65s, registered disabled, benefit recipients, and full-time students. Valid ID is required.
The foyer has toilets, a baby changing area and an accessible toilet. Please note the theatre does not currently have air conditioning or a hearing loop, but we are working to add these in the future.
Buses 8 and 9 run to and from Bristol Temple Meads and stop near the former Bristol Zoo site; from there, it’s a short walk down College Road and right onto Percival Road. The nearest train station is Clifton Down, just off Whiteladies Road, about a 20-minute walk from the theatre.
The main auditorium is accessed via two staircases, but ground-level access is available for wheelchair and restricted mobility users—please speak to Box Office staff on arrival. We have one designated wheelchair spaces per performance which is seat B17 on our seating plan, with a companion seat next to them, B16. Motorised mobility scooters are welcome but may pose a hazard; please inform the Box Office when booking for guidance. Customers cannot bring their own chairs unless it is a wheelchair, due to health and safety policy. Warning notices for strobe lighting, pyrotechnics and other special effects are displayed in the foyer on the day of the performance and can be discussed in advance by calling the Box Office.
All under 16s must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times and cannot sit alone. Children under 24 months require a free “Lap Seat” ticket and must be held on an adult’s lap throughout the performance. Children aged 24 months and over need a purchased child ticket. All under 18s must sit with an adult in the booking party; single seat bookings for children are not permitted.
We don’t have a theatre car park, but free on-street parking is available nearby after 5pm Monday to Friday and all day on weekends. At other times, a pay-and-display system operated by Bristol City Council applies. Disabled badge holders may park on the double yellow lines in front of the theatre with their blue badge clearly visible. Bike racks are available outside the theatre, and large vehicles, including coaches, should park along College Fields opposite the theatre.

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless an event is cancelled, in which case only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. If a show is rescheduled, your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund within one month of the reschedule. Ticket insurance through SecureMyBooking.com does not guarantee a refund; claims must be submitted and approved via their website. We do not currently offer a resale service for sold-out shows.
