Following the 2024 success of ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, St Mary’s Players Musical Theatre Company are delighted to bring ‘Into the Woods’ to the Redgrave Theatre in April 2025.

In this musical tale, a Baker and his wife desperately wish for a child; Cinderella yearns to attend the King's grand festival; and Jack hopes for his cow to provide milk. When the Baker and his wife uncover that a Witch’s curse is the reason they remain childless, they set off on a quest into the woods to undo the spell. As each character's wish comes true, they soon realize that their choices have unforeseen consequences, and the price they pay is far greater than they imagined.

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim masterfully weave together your favorite storybook characters in a captivating, timeless tale - creating a modern classic that’s truly unforgettable.
