Rod Davies and Colin Hanton were core members of John Lennon’s Quarrymen in 1956. Along with founder members Len Garry, Eric Griffith and Pete Shotton, the skiffle band The Quarrymen paved the way for what became the most successful performing group of all time - The Beatles.
Don't miss this exclusive event, as Rod (originally playing banjo and now on guitar) and Colin (drums) are joined onstage by Mike Wilsh*, one of 1960s hit makers The Four Pennies and composer of their number on hit, Juliet.
Performing the music that influenced the genesis of the Beatles, skiffle and early rock n’ roll, Rod and Colin will be inviting members of the audience to play in the band and will be joined other musical friends, including an appearance from legendary singer/songwriter Billy Bragg.
This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience - a night to remember for all Beatles fans. A night of music, nostalgia and passion!
Please Note: that Mike Wilsh will be replacing Chas Newby (originally advertised) for this performance.
