The Brooklyn-based, Pakistan-born artist holds a potent magnetism with her graceful, crystalline vocals as they soar amongst intricate instrumentation that “draws from Jazz, Hindustani classical, and folk” (Pitchfork).
Nominated for Best New Artist at the 2022 Grammys, the latest release from Aftab, ‘Vulture Prince’, offers a poignant meditation on loss.
