St Mary's Players are proud to present their Sixtieth Anniversary production of Lionel Bart's iconic British musical "Oliver!".
The musical is an adaptation of the classic novel by Charles Dickens; about the boy who asked for more! The stage version premiered in 1960 and was a huge hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
Featuring many unforgettable and well known songs, including "Food Glorious Food", "Consider Yourself", "Oom-Pah-Pah" and "As Long As He Needs Me", you are sure to leave the theatre humming a tune or two.
The 1968 film adaptation was one of the most successful musical films ever - going on to win 6 Academy Awards.
After bringing so many literary classics to the stage over the last few years including Jane Eyre - A Musical Drama, Jekyll & Hyde and The Return of Sherlock Holmes, we are delighted to continue the theme with Oliver!. Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
