You might know American singer-songwriter Kristin Hersh best as a member of art-punk band Throwing Muses and front-woman of power trio 50FOOTWAVE. Listening to her jaggedly dissonant sound and stream-of-consciousness style lyrics is like “like receiving, unfiltered, a direct feed of someone’s thoughts” (Pitchfork). Now, ten solo albums in and armed only with a Telecaster, Hersh’s ability to plunder the depths of her soul have made her “one of indie rock’s most fascinating figures” (Guardian).
“It’s exhausting and exhilarating – and that’s exactly the beauty of Kristin Hersh” (Manchester Evening News)
