Having great places to visit when exploring a new city can really add to the experience. For those looking for a break in Bristol we really recommend adding the Redgrave Theatre to your itinerary.
Let’s find out more…
The Redgrave Theatre is a secret gem hidden away in leafy Clifton. Established back in the mid 1960s the original name of the building was simply the Clifton College Theatre.
The Redgrave Theatre has come a long way since the 1960s. It is still used for a wide range of College productions and now also plays host to world class comedians, award winning family shows, musicals, talks and much more.
What events are on?
The Redgrave Theatre has a variety of commercial shows playing all year round that will suit everyone from 1 to 105! We are really excited this year to announce our new pantomime Beauty and the Beast in collaboration with the fantastic PolkaDot Productions. An exciting Autumn/Winter programme has been planned and will include a wide variety of comedy, cabaret, musicals, live music and family entertainment.
What else should we know?
The Box Office at the Redgrave accepts cash and card payments. To purchase tickets the box office is open Monday – Friday 9:30am-5:30pm by calling 0117 3157 800 or visiting in person.
Tickets can be bought online here.
We have a lovely bar on site that stocks a wide range of local products for you to enjoy during the show. We are also working hard to limit our carbon footprint and only use corn starch cups and glass bottles that are recycled daily.
Parking is free after 5pm Mon-Fri and all weekend. The number 8 bus and local sightseeing buses also stop very close by. Why not finish a perfect day out at Bristol Zoo with a trip to the Redgrave Theatre!
The Redgrave Theatre is quickly becoming recognised as one of the leading players in the Bristol Arts scene. We look forward to welcoming you here in the near future.
