St Mary's Players are delighted to be bringing the West of England premiere of Jane Eyre (a musical drama) to the Redgrave Theatre, this Easter.  Over the years SMP have brought many classics to the stage including productions of Jekyll & Hyde, The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes and The Scarlet Pimpernel, so we are really excited to have the opportunity to be the first in Bristol to bring these well-known characters to the stage of musical theatre!

This classic adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's great love story is brought to life by a haunting and heart wrenching musical score, supporting the well-known story of secrets, lies and love. Set in 1820's England and narrated by JaneEyre and the Ensemble, the musical follows  Jane, from young orphan along her journey of discovery to love, loss and morality.  This is a truly beautiful piece of theatre and one not to be missed!

Book by John Caird, Lyrics by Paul Gordon and Music by Paul Gordon.

Based on the classic novel by Charlotte Brontë.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe)
