When the Development Council proposes to demolish the historic shophouses on Jalan Mawas, the residents unite to protest against it with a musical twist, hoping to save their homes. However, the fight becomes a painful reckoning for Aleesha when she is forced to confront buried secrets and unresolved grief from her past. The residents are forced to face a continuous string of challenges as Aleesha, along with her community, must find a way to save their street before everything falls apart.

MS Night is an annual production hosted by Malaysian and Singaporean individuals. Filled with a blend of exciting and emotional songs, Jalan Kita tells an important story about community, family, and love. It is a reminder that although emotions are messy and complicated, they are ultimately what makes us human.
