As part of the School’s inaugural Music, Performance and Arts Festival, Clifton High School is delighted to be performing its annual School Production at the Redgrave Theatre this autumn.
In collaboration with the Docklands Sinfonia and composer, orchestral director and conductor, Jeremy Holland-Smith, the School’s most promising actors and musicians will take to the stage for three consecutive evenings in their performance of Laurents’ ever-popular West Side Story.
Set to Berstein’s and Sondheim’s iconic score, the cast will explore the rivalry of two teenage street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, amid a fledgling romance between opposite sides.
Pupils have shown huge dedication and commitment to their rehearsals and we look forward to what promises to be a compelling and impressive production.
